Jamie's Story:Hailing from the Twin Cities, MN, Jamie Macpherson is a director and educator. She focuses on using theater as a tool to bring people together and create spaces for conversations, connections, and imagining new possibilities. She is passionate about partnering with young people, and believes theater sparks a spirit of creativity, and curiosity. She is also an experienced fight director and instructor, specializing in working with young people both onstage and in the classroom.
Jamie has an MFA in Theatre for Youth from the Arizona State University, and holds a BA in Directing from Macalester College. She is bilingual, fluent in Spanish, and enjoys teaching (and singing!) in both languages. |
